We host workshops based on and inspired by the growing, arranging and documenting of flowers.
STILL LIFE FLOWER DRAWING
Join us for our collaborative workshop painting or drawing from a beautiful flower still life. Our seasonal flowers are grown from our cutting garden in Devon, we will create a beautiful and interesting scene full of colour, texture and scent for you to draw inspiration from. Spend a few hours creating a piece of art to hang in your home or simply enjoy the document process of creating from still life. Guided by Rosie, she will offer support throughout the session.
Session Duration is 2 hours. All tools and materials are provided. Please note this is not a formally taught workshop, more a chance to get creative, experiment with new tools and techniques and to meet some lovely like-minded people.
BOUQUET/VASE ARRANGMENTS
Come and make a hand-tied bouquet or a natural vase arrangement, with a delightful selection of seasonal flowers, grown from our cutting garden in Devon. Our flowers freshly harvested the day before will represent the best of the British growing season with interesting scents, textures and colours to make your arrangement unique. Grace will guide you through the making process, with tips and techniques on how to get the most from your flowers, along with ideas on vase choices, tools and what flowers to choose when making an arrangement. Each student will leave with beautifully arranged flowers to take home and enjoy.
